Shiny Star Designs, LLC is owned and operated by Jess Lanham. Jess is a busy mom to three little girls as well as an Army wife to her super soldier. She has been designing and sewing carriers and baby products for the past six years and continues to combine new techniques with an amazing eye for design to offer beautiful one-of-a kind products to her customers.
In addition to designing and sewing, Jess has been teaching babywearing classes for almost five years. She currently co-runs the Fayetteville Babywearing Group and lending library. Jess is an avid babywearer—she is often tandem wearing her two youngest. She firmly believes that life wouldn't happen without babywearing!
Because Jess has had three preemies, including a micro-preemie, she knows the importance of babywearing from birth through toddlerhood.
